Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) is thrilled to announce that Gail Gilman has joined us as our new Executive Director, effective this week. Gail is a seasoned, visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in housing, homelessness, and social justice organizations throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area.

EDC has chosen Mairi McKeever to be our Interim Executive Director. Mairi is an experienced, steady leader, with over 30 years of experience in nonprofit management and executive leadership in the legal aid and nonprofit sector.

We are deeply saddened by Daniel Casanova’s passing. Daniel was Eviction Defense Collaborative’s Executive Director, and he was an extraordinary leader, passionate advocate, and dear friend.
